"I have been part of the Holiday Experts team since its launch back at the beginning of 2005 and in the last three years I have watched the company grow to become one of the most important home working companies in the industry.
I love the flexibility of my very own Ltd company, allowing me to have time off when I want it, whether its the 15 weeks off I had last year for holidays and fam trips, or deciding to have this weekend off to spend time with friends and family. I have been to many new places on fam trips and discounted holidays (Including Africa, Australia, The Caribbean and Europe) in addition to our two annual conferences each year, of which one is a long haul destination. My main reason for working within the industry is my passion to travel. With so many opportunities to do so, It enables me to give the best service & advise to clients on destinations all over the world which always helps when closing the sale and makes me an expert, which is kind of the point of the company name.
I have also watched my pay packet increase year on year as a direct result of these trips. This year I may even achieve the top bonus payment of 8% on top of the standard 31% paid each month of the year, putting my earnings for this tax year at over £30,000! I love the way I am able to make all of my own decisions on what I sell, which destinations and how to market them. All of this is achieved with the support of our very own web & sales development managers who are always there for you, along with the admin support team & head office who are in charge of our admin.
We all know that any company is only as good as the people that work there, and I can tell you first hand that you get back what you put in with Holiday Experts. As long as you have the will and determination, your work will be recognised and well rewarded! "Being a Holiday Expert is more than just being a homeworker, it is about going the extra mile and caring about our customers. It is knowing that you get out of it what you put in.
With a 3 year old son, it was getting more and more difficult working on the high street, missing out on so much. Since I have become a Holiday Expert my work/life balance is so much better. Enabling me to give 100% to my work and also to my family, something I never thought was possible on the high street. I can take time with my customers, to make sure that I give them the holiday that THEY want (NOT what is best for the company!!) I enjoy really getting to know my customers, I make them feel valued and know that they will return to me.
The support team we have are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble and they are always there if you need any advice or assistance. We have a fantastic website and our technology improves on a weekly basis.

"What can I say my 1st thoughts of home working were sitting in the garden on a hot summers day sipping a cool glass of Pimms and occasionally getting up to answer the phone, How wrong can a girl be! If you think that working from home is going to be the above like I did then please read on!
Why did I pick Holiday Experts?
After being in a High St travel agency for 10 years with all the rules and regulations on what you can and can't sell and more and more people coming into the shop trying to get me to match what I considered unrealistic quotes I began to feel that the fun had gone out of selling holidays and that maybe I was coming to the end of my travel career. This is when with one last push I started looking into homeworking but the big question was could I make the jump, would I be any good, where was I going to start and which company was I going to pick?
I decided to ring a few homeworking companies and pretend to be a customer and see if i receive the customer service that I would offer! So I rang a few, a few never rang me back a few didn't really seem to want my custom and then there was a returned call from Holiday Experts!
The service I received was fantastic, all my questions were answered, the consultant had great knowledge and was enthusiastic about what she was telling me. The whole experience put me at ease and I would have definitely booked my holiday with her, I even felt guilty for being a mystery shopper so to speak. This was it I had found my home working company!
There was no formal interview one of the management team who are now more like friends came round for an informal chat and then left me the information to make up my mind without any pressure before I made my decision. The initial training was held over 2 days at a central point so I knew how to work the computer and systems and gave me the confidence for when I was back at home it also gave me the chance to meet some other new home workers and one of these people I have now teamed up with and we work together very successfully!
This was the start of a whole new adventure and a brand new world of travel I never knew existed - it's like I had been in a big bubble in the High St and now suddenly it had been burst and I had been set free!!!!!
I now feel that I can reach my full potential and after a year I am more positive than ever. I can sell pretty much what I like, I have a growing business that is like my own and I am in complete control of when I choose to work. Don't get me wrong the 1st year has been hard sometimes clocking up 50+ hours per week in busy times and not giving my family the time I had promised but I know that this will all change and that I will fully achieve everything I ever wanted out of home working and my passion for travel that I had lost and hopefully I will even have the Pimms in the garden dream! With Holiday Experts you are rewarded for your work by great commission, a fantastic management backup team and even the managing director on first name basis and there is no feeling isolated which was one of my concerns.

"Although I had a lot of sales experience, I was worried by my lack of Travel experience (just 2 years) compared to others who had 10-15 years. The boss who interviewed me was quite confident I could do it, and so I gave it my best shot.
In my first month, August (school holidays) I earned nearly £6000!!! Since then my average earnings have been around £3000 every month. I cant believe it. I feel like I've won the lottery. I love the fact that there is always someone at the end of the phone day or night if I need advice or help with anything - It's the best job I've ever had! ....And I get to sit in my pyjamas all day drinking coffee, doing my washing, and getting baby to school in my free time when the phone isn't ringing - What a life!"

"I have been homeworking for 7 years now. I worked for the big conglomerates but joined Holiday Experts 2 years ago as I liked the idea of a smaller organisation because I thought it would be more intimate. I was so right, I cannot explain the difference. For once I am a name not a number. Homeworking can be a lonely job but with the right support and network around us it makes it easier to adjust to working by ones self.
I like the idea of being my own boss and in charge of my own destiny. I am earning more now than ever before in Travel, I work hard and put in the hours but I reap the benefits. It can be hard work but I am in control.
We have a fantastic support network, our support team and admin personnel are brilliant, they are always on hand to take my calls. It can be any time of the day and for the smallest of things but they always spring into action whenever I need help or even a shoulder to cry on. We can use our Marketing Manager to help build the business further, he is prepared to put the time and effort in to help us get the best out of ourselves. Head office support is so important. They handle Ticketing and invoicing taking the pressure off us. They provide an overall service that helps us run a successful business. They are the best!! Our customer services is second to none, our customers really do get the best treatment.
I never imagined in my wildest dreams I would be earning what I am and enjoying it too.
I can take time off knowing that my customers will be well looked after. I also have a 'buddys’ who will cover me which helps knowing that I can leave enquiries in the safe hands of somebody I know. All the homeworkers get on well, we are always pleased when one of our colleagues has done exceptionally well, which makes a change from the cut throat pressures of working in a shop.
This really is the place to be, we are one big happy family, all on first name terms, when our Managing Director rings he doesn't forget who we are or how long we have been here, he knows because he makes his business to."
