Turtle Beach is a true Caribbean escape, tucked away on the shores of its own palm-fringed beach, on the natural paradise island of Tobago. Perfect for children, the hotel’s beach is where giant leatherback turtles lay their eggs from March to July. A morning walk on the beach reveals the discarded shells of the baby turtles that have hatched and made their perilous way down to the sea.
Turtle Beach has been designed to ensure you enjoy the best of the Caribbean beach. All public rooms and guest rooms face towards the sea, and the pool with its swim-up bar and whirlpool is right next to the shore.
In the evening, the pool bar is the perfect place to enjoy a Caribbean cocktail and watch the sunset. Turtle Beach’s Kiskadee restaurant offers a tempting range of creole specialities and international classics, served buffet-style, throughout the day. After dinner, you can enjoy some uniquely Caribbean entertainment including steel pan, local bands and cultural shows.

The Kiskadee - An informal buffet-style restaurant overlooking the gardens
Courlanders -An open-air terrace adjacent to the pool and the Kiskadee serving tea and coffee throughout the day, and a varied programme of entertainment during the evening
The Surf Bar - A beachfront, poolside bar with a swim-up counter, perfect for poolside refreshment, cocktails at sundown and after-dinner drinks.
The Crusoe Bar - Next to Reception and the Kiskadee, a comfortable lounge overlooking the gardens for evening drinks.
Evening dress code
At Turtle Beach we dress for dinner (smart-casual), and men must wear collared shirts and long trousers in the Kiskadee in the evening. Please feel free to wear t-shirts, shorts and beach wraps at breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
Rexplorers! Kids Club
Rex Resorts have been working hard to improve their kids clubs helping to ensure your children enjoy their time spent at rex resorts as well as leaving with plenty of fun memories!
To keep children entertained, rexplorers is available for 4 to 12 year olds, Monday to Friday from 10.15 to 12.30, and 14.15 to 16.00 (except public holidays), by request only. Please advise reception when you check-in of your requirements in order for the necessary arrangements to be made. A small outside play area is also available (please note that children must be supervised at all times when using this facility). |
