Silver Sands Resort is located on the southern tip of Barbados and is conveniently situated between the capital city Bridgetown and the airport. A minibus service operates three days a week to take you to and from Bridgetown at a nominal charge.
The resort is spread over twelve landscaped acres and is situated on the beach with a semi-private beach area.
In the winter months, the surf off the coast off Silver Sands is ideal for windsurfing.
Rooms
The hotel boasts 130 units - 89 Suites and Studios and 41 rooms. The hotel rooms face the main pool area and have sea views while the studios have either ocean or garden views. There are also 20 one-bedroom suites with tropical garden views.

The popular Seafans Restaurant serves breakfast daily and offers table dhote and a la carte dining in the evening. This lovely restaurant overlooks the ocean for a romantic and tropical setting.
Lunch is available at the Seahorse Grill, which also serves snacks in the evening. The Grill offers soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and pizza.
Enjoy rum punches, exotic tropical drinks and beer beer at the Seahorse Bar which is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to midnight.
